Shreveport was a blast! I lost everything I planned to loose, but had a great time doing it! It was a much needed mini-break from the routine. Mom and Kevin didn't do any better than I did, so we laughed about it all the way home. We had dinner at a seafood buffet at the Hollywood Casino, and it was pretty good! (A tad pricey, but it was worth it, I thought...$19.99/person) We got home around 11:30 last night, and I absolutely crashed out as soon as my head hit the pillow!
It's important to note that at one point I had all money money for the day won back playing craps, but I managed to loose it again. Now I know why they call it Craps! (I only lost $60!)
I'm about to head over to see my grandmother in a bit. We're making brunch tomorrow to take over and hopefully cheer her up. She is so very down right now, but we're trying to be her cheerleaders!
